Who: Everyone
When: Day 5, bright and early in the morning
Where: Labyrinth!
What: A daring labyrinth
[you somehow land into this labyrinth with a hard thud, sending clouds of dust flying everywhere. what you're in now is a stone room that has a flickering torch placed on each wall. it smells a bit dingy in here, like what one might picture an actual labyrinth or dungeon to smell like.
there doesn't actually seem to be much worth investigating in this room, aside from a sign and three old, wooden doors before you. the sign reads:
"If you risk it all, you gain it all. If you risk nothing, you gain nothing."
somehow, very inexplicably so, you get the strange sense that the riskier you play, the better the prize.]

Re: FIRE ROOM
"Besides," another says, "I don't think babies can live off a diet of just cake like we do. It'll have to wait a little while before it can do THAT."
everyone else nods in agreement.]
Re: FIRE ROOM
Re: FIRE ROOM
they just start. awkwardly waving, some of them join in late because they didn't realize they'd try to rush you off so soon]
Re: FIRE ROOM
[where's the exit...]
Re: FIRE ROOM
"You can just jump off the ledge. Or climb the ladder back down. Sorry about that."]
Re: FIRE ROOM
[baby did not like ladder, let's float off the edge instead]
Re: FIRE ROOM
"Thank you! If you die, we'll welcome you back to heaven with open arms and plenty of cake."
your float down is very pleasant—baby likes this much better! you spend a minute or so floating down... and eventually you can come to land atop a tree—you're somehow able to stand atop a the bushy leaves of one if its highest branches.
suddenly it starts raining. the sky is dark, and thunder bellows in the distance. the land from which this tree grows is covered with tree stumps. dried leaves lie scattered, some in piles. not only that, but random objects and junk are scatted across the ground, too—it's just hard to make out what all of this it from atop the tree.
much further ahead, in the distance, is a large tower constructed of many, many logs. it stands tall and proud as lighting goes off behind it.]
Re: FIRE ROOM
[...bundles the baby up more snugly and goes to rummage through the piles of leaves and junk instead]
Re: FIRE ROOM
the junk lying around consists of stuffed animals (torn apart and stained with dirt), broken dishes, a snapped toothbrush... the majority of these items seem to be standard mundane items you'd see around someone's house.]

MURDER.
the "ink" is still moist.]
Re: FIRE ROOM
["WHO?"]
Re: FIRE ROOM
it conveniently points towards that log tower in the distance]
Re: FIRE ROOM
[heads towards the tower]
Re: FIRE ROOM
upon approaching the log tower, you can see the many bolts on the door. the doorknob, which is more of a handle, even has chains wrapped around it.
and just in case you can't get the idea, plastered to the door is a sign that says "STAY OUT."]
Re: FIRE ROOM
[hopefully baby is not alarmed by mao's eye starting to bleed either]
Re: FIRE ROOM
Re: FIRE ROOM
[covers baby's ears and EXPLODES A HOLE AT THE WALL]
Re: FIRE ROOM
once inside, you find that this tower is all one floor; it just has an enormous ceiling height. books line the entirety of the walls, like an expansive private library, and since the walls are so tall there's several mobile ladders laying about. in the middle of this room, by a central fireplace, is a sitting area, set up with plush furniture.
..and sitting on one of the plush chairs is a reverse mermaid—they have a book in one foot and a cup of coffee in the other. you see, these reverse mermaids are very crafty with your feet.
despite the fact that you exploded a hole in their wall, your presence goes unnoticed.]

Re: FIRE ROOM
yes it does.
in fact, there are pages everywhere.
