When: Day 5, bright and early in the morning
Where: Labyrinth!
What: A daring labyrinth

[you somehow land into this labyrinth with a hard thud, sending clouds of dust flying everywhere. what you're in now is a stone room that has a flickering torch placed on each wall. it smells a bit dingy in here, like what one might picture an actual labyrinth or dungeon to smell like.

there doesn't actually seem to be much worth investigating in this room, aside from a sign and three old, wooden doors before you. the sign reads:

"If you risk it all, you gain it all. If you risk nothing, you gain nothing."

somehow, very inexplicably so, you get the strange sense that the riskier you play, the better the prize.]

[the door pulls open—it seems to open into a dark room below, though no water seeps out into it.

meanwhile, the snake things come out of the walls to circle mika from above]

[ UM??? WOW. Pulling his sword and slicing into the water seems like a decent idea???? stabbing and slicing, ATTEMPTING TO KILL THEM!! ]

[ Yuu-chan the HELL are you doing?! USE THE WORMS. THE WORMS!!

Rather than go through the door, Mika is going to surface the water while the snakes are distracted by Yuu dangerously swording at them, trying to grab the bucket again. ]

[wow

the fish are certainly distracted, and in fact, they're pretty damn offended. yuu better watch out for any leaping snake things that might try to latch onto yuu with their sharp, tiny teeth.

but on the bright side, they're completely distracted so mika can successfully grab the bucket]

anyways... knocking the ones away that try to latch onto him. that's rude, snakes. ]

[ Throwing the last of the worms AWAY FROM YUU AND THE DOOR. ]

[the snakes that are STILL ALIVE head for the worms, and once they're through eating those they'll hide in the walls for a brief while again.]

Distracting the snakes, you mean.

[ there were better ways to distract the snakes. but. whatev. looking back to where mika was swimming. ]

We should go through the door.

[ Just gives Yuu the biggest 'You are an idiot' look, before nodding and turning back to go through the underwater door! ]

[through the slimy water, and then through the underwater door you go

as you go through, you suddenly drop into a dark room; the only light you can make out is on the other side of the room... however, you can hear scratchy-sounding oldies playing from one corner of the room. someone really likes their old tv/radio stuff.

for the guy who can see: there's many large boulders settled around the perimeter of this room; on one nearest to you two is a portable record player, which is the source of this music.

there's also a huge, sleeping dragon in the middle of the floor not far from where you two fell. it's snoring very softly, though it's weird, long legs stick out from underneath it.

on the other side of this dragon is an archway leading into an area with some light.

but in order to get there, you'd have to get past this dragon first.]

[ Considers this all for a long, silent moment.

Then turns and picks Yuu up and SPEEDILY AND QUIETLY CARRY HIM to the archway, around the dragon. Vampires are OP!! ]

[you get past the dragon, which sleeps soundly, and you're just about to make it to the archway, which certainly seems to lead into a hallway with fancy lights on the wall.]

[ Going to put Yuu down but DON'T BE SO LOUD ]

[ Just, HUFFS. I'm GOING TO THE FANCY LOOKING PLACE. WITH THE FANCY LIGHTS. YOU CAN'T STOP ME MIKA. ]

[YUU'RE LUCKY THE DRAGON DIDN'T WAKE, SMH

the hall you enter has fancy sconces on the wall, but now that you're in here you can see the occasional moth flying around. gross. there is fancy carpet. fancy wallpaper. it's pretty snazzy in here.

there are two paths to go from here in this hallway: you can turn right, towards the sound of piano playing, or left, towards the low rolls of timpani drums.]

[ Buuut for all his reprimanding, he'll follow Yuu along. ]

[yuu soon come across a large, spacious room. it's dim, but not dark, so it's easy to make out what's in here... which is almost nothing. there's a stage that house a pair of timpani, which are being played by... magic? an invisible person? maybe they're playing themselves. behind the timpani are a set of thick curtains that haven't been pulled aside.

before the stage, where there would usually be many seats, is a potion stand, like what you would see along the street during a market. there are many colorful potions sitting atop the counter. manning this stand is a person with long white hair, warts on their face, and little nails and screws for finger nails.

"Oh, two charmers! Welcome! Please, try a potion!"]

[ be reasonable Yuu, don't just grab shit. looks at Mika and the potions.... ]

[ NOPE NOT TRUSTING THIS ]
