When: Day 5, bright and early in the morning
Where: Labyrinth!
What: A daring labyrinth

[you somehow land into this labyrinth with a hard thud, sending clouds of dust flying everywhere. what you're in now is a stone room that has a flickering torch placed on each wall. it smells a bit dingy in here, like what one might picture an actual labyrinth or dungeon to smell like.

there doesn't actually seem to be much worth investigating in this room, aside from a sign and three old, wooden doors before you. the sign reads:

"If you risk it all, you gain it all. If you risk nothing, you gain nothing."

somehow, very inexplicably so, you get the strange sense that the riskier you play, the better the prize.]

[ So Mika is just going to nod and ignore the woman to go and investigate what is behind the curtain instead. ]

[the woman calls out to them. "Oh? A pair of cowards, are you?"

when you pull the curtain apart, you're met with darkness... but you can see in the dark! you happen to see some cloaked figures messing around with some boxes that have a red fluid seeping out of the corners.]

[ Ignoring the woman, Mika is going to immediately cover his mouth and nose and back the hell up, because that's blood!!! ]

[ HE WAS ABOUT TO NOT LET THIS OLD WOMAN TALK SMACK, but Mika is backing up and has his nose covered. ]

Hey Mika— oh.

[ At the very least it's not like Mika's now low on blood, but he is shuddering and forcing himself to breathe evenly.

He drops the curtain closed. ]

[ So we're left with the shit talking old lady again.... pulling Mika away from the curtain after it's closed. We are going. So far from this curtain. Saving The Date. ]

Potion, or try to go back the other way?

[ Looking at Yuu gratefully and sticking close to him! ]

Let's... review our options and try the other room.

[ Mika can stick close for now. Yuu will start leading them back to where they came from!

[well now.

the old lady laughs and snorts. "Ha! Did you, by chance, see something you shouldn't have seen? There are curtains there for a reason..."

still, she begins sorting the potions on her stand, moving them all a bit too quickly for either of you to catch the names on the labels yet.]

[ MIKA, FOR ONE, DOESN'T RISE TO THAT BAIT even if he's somewhat curious as to why there's boxes full of blood behind the curtain. Some things are better left unknown. ]

[ YUU ON THE OTHER HAND HAS HAD ENOUGH OF THIS WOMAN TALKING SMACK. ]

Stay here, Mika.

[ If Mika doesn't stop him he's gonna stroll back over to her. ]

—Yuu-chan, no!

[ Mika's going to catch Yuu's hand and make him stay RIGHT HERE. ]

Mika!

[ Tugging at his hand in Mika's grip. ]

We agreed to go to the other room.

[ So let's do that. Even if he has to drag Yuu there. ]

[ OBVIOUSLY frustrated enough, Yuu will just turn his back on the snarky old woman. Which means he's basically dragging Mika along now. Towards the other room. ]

[the old lady's cackles resonate behind you as you leave...

the piano room, on the other hand, carries a different vibe. this room is pure white. there is no actual piano—the music comes from a speaker that's positioned high up on the wall.

however, there is a seating area with comfortable chairs and sofas. there's even a magazine rack and a window revealing a cloaked figure, filing their nails, at their chair in a little office. beside that is a hall, and...

wait a minute. this looks like a doctor's office.]

[ UNSURE... looks to Yuu to discern his reaction. ]

[ ALSO REALLY UNSURE.

Taking Mika along with him to investigate the magazine rack? Anything abnormal about these? The cloaked figure can come next... ]

[the rack contains numerous magazines revolving around skincare. they boast moisturizing techniques, what to do when you get a rash, the best method of keeping a tan, and so on. on the covers are pictures of very normal looking people.]

... shall we wait, Yuu-chan?

I wouldn't.

[ tugging him towards the hallway. surely we can ignore this cloaked figure, right...? ]

[the cloaked figure taps the plastic window in an attempt to get your attention.

"Are you boys here for that 34 o'clock appointment? You're late."]

... sorry. We'll head right in.

[ LYING MC POKERFACE ]

[ Giving Mika an incredulous look, but.....going along with it. ]

["It's the first door on your left."

they say that, but it's the ONLY door in this hallway—at the end of the hall is just your standard cleaning supplies since they don't seem to actually have a broom closet of sorts.

again, this room also reflects the kind you'd find in a doctor's office. there's a bench for sitting, a table with various medical things on it... and there's a cloaked figure sitting on the stool, writing on their clipboard with their back turned to yuu both—so they don't notice yuu guys just yet.]
