When: Day 5, bright and early in the morning
Where: Labyrinth!
What: A daring labyrinth

[you somehow land into this labyrinth with a hard thud, sending clouds of dust flying everywhere. what you're in now is a stone room that has a flickering torch placed on each wall. it smells a bit dingy in here, like what one might picture an actual labyrinth or dungeon to smell like.

there doesn't actually seem to be much worth investigating in this room, aside from a sign and three old, wooden doors before you. the sign reads:

"If you risk it all, you gain it all. If you risk nothing, you gain nothing."

somehow, very inexplicably so, you get the strange sense that the riskier you play, the better the prize.]

Then turns and picks Yuu up and SPEEDILY AND QUIETLY CARRY HIM to the archway, around the dragon. Vampires are OP!! ]

[you get past the dragon, which sleeps soundly, and you're just about to make it to the archway, which certainly seems to lead into a hallway with fancy lights on the wall.]

[ SHOVING AT MIKA 8| ]

Put me down! You didn't have to carry me!

[ Going to put Yuu down but DON'T BE SO LOUD ]

[ Just, HUFFS. I'm GOING TO THE FANCY LOOKING PLACE. WITH THE FANCY LIGHTS. YOU CAN'T STOP ME MIKA. ]

[YUU'RE LUCKY THE DRAGON DIDN'T WAKE, SMH

the hall you enter has fancy sconces on the wall, but now that you're in here you can see the occasional moth flying around. gross. there is fancy carpet. fancy wallpaper. it's pretty snazzy in here.

there are two paths to go from here in this hallway: you can turn right, towards the sound of piano playing, or left, towards the low rolls of timpani drums.]

[ Sighs once they're safe. Honestly, Mika doesn't have a preference for direction, and he knows he has to let Yuu do SOMETHING or else things might just get worse. ]

[ He sighs, just a little. ]

You have no idea what else was in that room, Yuu-chan.

[ Buuut for all his reprimanding, he'll follow Yuu along. ]

[yuu soon come across a large, spacious room. it's dim, but not dark, so it's easy to make out what's in here... which is almost nothing. there's a stage that house a pair of timpani, which are being played by... magic? an invisible person? maybe they're playing themselves. behind the timpani are a set of thick curtains that haven't been pulled aside.

before the stage, where there would usually be many seats, is a potion stand, like what you would see along the street during a market. there are many colorful potions sitting atop the counter. manning this stand is a person with long white hair, warts on their face, and little nails and screws for finger nails.

"Oh, two charmers! Welcome! Please, try a potion!"]

Mika?

[ be reasonable Yuu, don't just grab shit. looks at Mika and the potions.... ]

[ NOPE NOT TRUSTING THIS ]

[ So Mika is just going to nod and ignore the woman to go and investigate what is behind the curtain instead. ]

[the woman calls out to them. "Oh? A pair of cowards, are you?"

when you pull the curtain apart, you're met with darkness... but you can see in the dark! you happen to see some cloaked figures messing around with some boxes that have a red fluid seeping out of the corners.]

[ Ignoring the woman, Mika is going to immediately cover his mouth and nose and back the hell up, because that's blood!!! ]

[ HE WAS ABOUT TO NOT LET THIS OLD WOMAN TALK SMACK, but Mika is backing up and has his nose covered. ]

Hey Mika— oh.

[ At the very least it's not like Mika's now low on blood, but he is shuddering and forcing himself to breathe evenly.

He drops the curtain closed. ]

[ So we're left with the shit talking old lady again.... pulling Mika away from the curtain after it's closed. We are going. So far from this curtain. Saving The Date. ]

Potion, or try to go back the other way?

[ Looking at Yuu gratefully and sticking close to him! ]

Let's... review our options and try the other room.

[ Mika can stick close for now. Yuu will start leading them back to where they came from!
