Who: Everyone
When: Day 5, bright and early in the morning
Where: Labyrinth!
What: A daring labyrinth
[you somehow land into this labyrinth with a hard thud, sending clouds of dust flying everywhere. what you're in now is a stone room that has a flickering torch placed on each wall. it smells a bit dingy in here, like what one might picture an actual labyrinth or dungeon to smell like.
there doesn't actually seem to be much worth investigating in this room, aside from a sign and three old, wooden doors before you. the sign reads:
"If you risk it all, you gain it all. If you risk nothing, you gain nothing."
somehow, very inexplicably so, you get the strange sense that the riskier you play, the better the prize.]

Re: WHICH DOOR DO YOU CHOOSE?
FLOWER ROOM
you're in a long, narrow room that is probably thirty feet long, give or take. its walls are covered with green spikes—and these walls are starting to close in on you, slowly but surely. dangling up above, several feet away, is a tiny-spiked vine—leading up to some bright, unknown area—that is low enough to grab onto.
the ground is slushy with wet moss and mud. if you aren't constantly moving, you'll notice that your feet are sinking. in fact, you can see skeleton arms sticking out from the mud, inanimate but looking as though they're reaching out for help.
however, straight on ahead, on the distant back wall of this room, is a glowing red button. but given the circumstances, would you have the time to press this?]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
+1 Nerdlord.
He, himself, will be semi-pacing the area to make sure he isn't sinking in. ]
This certainly is an interesting situation.
Re: FLOWER ROOM
[ Not that he knew what he was expecting really all things considered. But let's be careful as to where he's wandering around and what he's touching because spikes and he doesn't trust that slush. ]
Who leaves skeletons behind a door with a flower on it?
[ FLOWERS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE NICE. ]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
[ As for the skeleton, he's going to be pretending to shake its hand right now. Great ideas, right? ]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
[ Says the person who is no doubt going to try to rip that skeleton arm out of his hand and out of the slush as well? ]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Well the reaction from this will be self explanatory meaning that this one queen is definitely going to freeze up for a moment before starting to freak out. DEAD THINGS SHOULDN'T BE HUGGING HIM. ]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Let go, dumb thing!
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Re: FLOWER ROOM
There's absolutely no hard feelings as he's dumping that half of the skeleton back into the slush to allow it sink to the bottom for all he cared. Though once that's over and done with, he's going to be turning on his beloved king. ]
This is why you just don't go touching things.
Re: FLOWER ROOM
[ Of getting flipped off by the undead... But either way, he's scoping the room. ]
I figure we should do something about those spikes closing in on us. The vine, a button or maybe a little touch of magic.
Re: FLOWER ROOM
[ He's eyeing the vine and the button—neither one seems to be a good choice. ]
Magic seems to be a bit on the cheating side, don't you think?
Re: FLOWER ROOM
[ Going to go check out that button, should he push it, dear? ]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
True, but I wouldn't want to waste my energy doing something like this.
Re: FLOWER ROOM
as for the vine, it's covered in small, soft spikes that don't seem too sharp.
and by now, though it hasn't actually been that long, the room's certainly become noticeably narrower than before—thankfully the two of you still have your reasonable walking room even with the giant spikes considered. but it is slowly closing in.]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
You're asking for it, button.
[ BUTTON SMASH. ]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Re: FLOWER ROOM
you hear a "ding"
and then the entire floor gives out beneath the two of you]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Well good thing that this guy was near the vines because he's reaching out to them and grabbing a hold of them. While also being aware that his beloved king isn't exactly nearby.... ]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Re: FLOWER ROOM
[ Can he...swing over to the king? No? Yes?
Oh hell forget the whole swinging thing, if his king is going down then he's going to go down with. Cue this guy letting go of the vine to go fall with his stupid husband who decided to push the button. ]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Arthur, no...! [ But too late, sigh. ]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
WHY DID YOU HAVE TO PUSH THAT BUTTON.
Re: FLOWER ROOM
[ That will surely earn him a smack later. ]
