Who: Everyone
When: Day 5, bright and early in the morning
Where: Labyrinth!
What: A daring labyrinth
[you somehow land into this labyrinth with a hard thud, sending clouds of dust flying everywhere. what you're in now is a stone room that has a flickering torch placed on each wall. it smells a bit dingy in here, like what one might picture an actual labyrinth or dungeon to smell like.
there doesn't actually seem to be much worth investigating in this room, aside from a sign and three old, wooden doors before you. the sign reads:
"If you risk it all, you gain it all. If you risk nothing, you gain nothing."
somehow, very inexplicably so, you get the strange sense that the riskier you play, the better the prize.]

Re: FLOWER ROOM
Horris interjects, staring at you with wide ey—okay, crap, he's a skeleton, he doesn't have ANY eyes, but he is staring at you intensely. he sounds excited though!
"You what...?!"]

"You... fought a god?"]

Re: FLOWER ROOM
Re: FLOWER ROOM
"Wow, that's so cool—"
Ma shoots Horris a strict look, or what one would assume is a strict look. Horris... looks away and continues.
"Um... Everyone joining together and fighting a bad god. It sounds like the stuff out of a fantasy, Owain."
Horris slumps his shoulders and looks down at the floor.]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
It is a tale that, in time, will become legend.
Re: FLOWER ROOM
if only Horris had eyes so they could sparkle or twinkle. he's certainly inspired, but he quickly shakes his head to clear himself of his evident daze.
"If—it's not too much to ask, I have a favor to ask."]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Re: FLOWER ROOM
"Our god is a bad one! There, I said it! I don't think we should be sacrificing other beings to this god! I don't think those same beings should be considered "lesser" than us and treated as food!
"I want to help them, but I think everyone would be against me. And I don't think I have what it takes to become a hero like you, but, but... I can't stand back and let this god devour everyone as it wants anymore. I... I want this to change! And I think a hero like you can help!"
by the end of his request—his speech, really—his bony fists are clenched. he's watching you expectantly.]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
The father of one of my dear friends was a mere villager when he joined the army. He had no combat experience, and barely knew how to hold a lance. By the time I met him, he had become one of the strongest fighters in the army, his strength only matched by the oldest soldiers. Without him, we would have lost many battles.
Horris, do not count yourself out! There is a great potential within you that is waiting to be unleashed! If this is something you care deeply about, then I would be honored to help you in your quest.
Re: FLOWER ROOM
"Really? Is it something—I. Could I really become a hero like you? You're okay with this? Do you really think we can do it?"]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
The greatest heroes are those that start from humble beginnings.

nevertheless, Horris continues.
"Do I need anything? What kind of weapon should I get? Oh, and do you need anything while I'm at it?"]
Re: FLOWER ROOM
Hmm, I believe a lance is the best weapon to start with. And any health potions might be useful as well.
[ ......does a skeleton really need health potions tho? ]
