What: vomit. VOMIT EVERYWHERE because some people are no good at boats.

[ Some people like Sam, who have never set foot on a boat let alone been on one over water. The rocking motion had been bad enough, but that combined with the salty brine of the sea and the sound of waves (why, why did there have to be so much water??) just totally wrecks him.

The moment the plank's set down and the confetti starts and the cheering begins Sam...runs past everyone else in the crowd, finds the nearest barrel or other trash-looking receptical....and throws up. Like, a lot. His breakfast, his lunch, even his dinner from the night previous.

And when he lifts his head he is just all sorts of green in the face, pale and sweating. Sam takes it back, he wants to go back to the end of the world. He doesn't want to see this muh open water ever again. ]

I am not! How would you feel if your friends started acting like they didn't know you all of a sudden?? It's heartbreaking! My feelings are seriously hurt here!

I toooold you--I met McKayla in the caves when I first got here and he helped me! ...Sorta. He did kinda leave me to wander around in the dark. [ u dick ] I met Yuu after, when the strings kept tying people together--at the settlement.

Where ever that was, it wasn't here, and we were never there.

So.... [ Well. He's not really sure, and Sam just trails off quietly at the blunt rejection. ]

[ Well, that's that! Mika's turning his back on Sam, going to head off with Yuu. ]

We're keeping an eye on him Mika. He knows too much without us saying anything.

The vampire thing might be obvious, but, the family thing? He shouldn't know unless one of us said something to him.

[ peering back over his shoulder a few times. nodding. ]

It's not like we expected this place to be normal.
