Where: The Pier
What: vomit. VOMIT EVERYWHERE because some people are no good at boats.

[ Some people like Sam, who have never set foot on a boat let alone been on one over water. The rocking motion had been bad enough, but that combined with the salty brine of the sea and the sound of waves (why, why did there have to be so much water??) just totally wrecks him.

The moment the plank's set down and the confetti starts and the cheering begins Sam...runs past everyone else in the crowd, finds the nearest barrel or other trash-looking receptical....and throws up. Like, a lot. His breakfast, his lunch, even his dinner from the night previous.

And when he lifts his head he is just all sorts of green in the face, pale and sweating. Sam takes it back, he wants to go back to the end of the world. He doesn't want to see this muh open water ever again. ]

[ Well, that's that! Mika's turning his back on Sam, going to head off with Yuu. ]

We're keeping an eye on him Mika. He knows too much without us saying anything.

The vampire thing might be obvious, but, the family thing? He shouldn't know unless one of us said something to him.

[ peering back over his shoulder a few times. nodding. ]

It's just weird.

It's not like we expected this place to be normal.

... at least it's better off than the world we were in.

... that's the thing, Yuu-chan. The world that strange human came from might have had you and me in it.

But why would we be anywhere other than our own world? He claimed he knew us. He claimed we were friends with him...but we don't know him at all?

It's the only explanation I have right now, Yuu-chan.

Sounds too much like a weird sci-fi type thing.

... Yuu-chan, I know you don't like to think too hard, but consider what's happened in our life up until now.

I am thinking about this! Considering everything else this can't be much worse. That kid really can't top anything else that's happened to us.

Then we'll ignore him. Besides, his friends weren't us.

Yeah... that's fine. It would be better to just not pay attention to him.
