Who: Aqua and YOU.
When: Day 10
Where: anywhere. everywhere. but mostly the pier.
What: an arrival.
[ That sure is a new arrival stepping off the boat... she looks just a little bit frazzled, somehow? Definitely frazzled, like she's been through some pretty rough stuff, and that confetti and cheering is more than a little bit overwhelming...
Anyway, she can be found pretty much anywhere once she steps off the boat. Though she's tired, she's still interested in the town. And the people, of course. ]

Those are the businesses seeking employment. That Echo can recall.

[ That sounds perfect, actually. ]
How would I go about applying?
no subject
[ She looks down at herself. Her apron. Her flowers... ]
Employed me.
[ ...she's sparkling?? ]
no subject
It's really that simple, then... I'm a bit surprised.

[ they're officially approaching the inn! but she stops. ]
By the way.
[ normally someone continues speaking after this, but instead of trailing off, she just kind of. abruptly leaves it at that...?? ]

Yes, Echo?
no subject
Echo does not want to see that happen to you.

In a cardboard box... [ she repeats, like she almost can't believe it. ] Thank you for the warning. I'll get one immediately.

If you need any further assistance, Echo will be here—not that Echo is a great source be relied on since she is not not much newer than you.

Any little bit helps. And you have been so helpful already. I would never have known that without a job, I'd be living in a cardboard box.

There would have been yelling.
[ quietly muttering to herself, but it's totally something that can be overhead. ]
The inn keeper is rude.

[ hm. ]
... Is it often that someone has to sleep in a cardboard box?
no subject
No idea... I can keep on the lookout for those who are sleeping in boxes? I can observe them.

And it's always been this way?

I see. And you work at the flower shop?
no subject
Yes. That is correct.

You do not have to waste your money on these...
no subject
I wouldn't call it wasting, especially not if it benefits you.
no subject
It is okay. It only benefits the employer. It is not as though the money goes into Echo's pockets...!
