What: A mingle in which it's rainy all day...

[you may or may not have been involved in that labyrinth earlier! you might be a newcomer! regardless, it's an odd day in Port Perplex; you see, it's raining. nothing too heavy, just a constant, steady drizzle. if you drop by the Weapon's n More Shop, you'll be able to buy from a large selection of umbrellas—just watch out for any that might have holes. on the other hand, if you wanna feel creative, the Flower Shop is selling giant leaf/clover/flower umbrellas of different kinds, too—you'll be paying top dollar for those, though.

throughout the day you might come across puddles, which is natural... but these puddles are a strange anomaly—when you walk by them, you'll witness a moment from your past being reflected from this puddle, on show for anyone who might pass by and witness it. it could have been something that happened just this morning, something that happened yesterday, something that happened years ago... it doesn't seem picky.

but thanks to this rain—or maybe the labyrinth—the curious will find many plants sprouting from the now fertile, and no longer cracked, soil of Tier 2. it's hard to say what they'll become, but they're currently small, cute and green!

so... what are you up today? the usual? arriving? avoiding puddles? searching for every one of these little sprouts?]

((THE PUDDLES: if characters stomp/run through them, the scene will stop! ...but the character who ran through it will now experience the feeling that the memory-owner felt in that very depiction—the memory-owner can also run/stomp their own puddle and relive those feelings. if that's not your cup of tea, though, you can play with it however you want!))

[ Tarnia is starting his new part-time job in the Tailors, which is conveniently selling plenty of rain clothes today! They will magically fit any size. Truly amazing.

[ Donning a raincoat and out exploring for a while! Not paying much attention to the rain puddles unless someone draws his attention to them.

At some point though, later on....he will predictably end up at the library. ]

[ Low and behold, once Sorey looks to a puddle - he sees his past self with none other than his childhood friend. Those who might look over Sorey's shoulder will see him looking quite perplexed at seeing a mini him. He blinks a bit, scratching his head. However, he doesn't look away.

Strange, but it seems pretty harmless.... He was just on his way to look for some shelter from the rain, too. That'd just caught his eye! ]

Huh? I don't get why-- but that's pretty amazing.

[ Peeking over his shoulder...that isn't even a reflection. Is this considered being nosy because he's being nosy. ]

[ Unfortunately, Mikaela is antisocial as ever and not one to pay any attention to some stranger's idle comments. However, the puddles themselves are distracting enough for both Sorey and Mikaela that it's only natural that Mika would bump into him! ]

[ More unfortunately, Mikaela is also antisocial enough to not even apologize, trying to step aside and brush it all off as quickly as possible. ]

[Shinoa walks past his puddle, watching the scene as she twirls her giant rose umbrella. These people and their childhoods...]

Of course it's amazing—it's certainly not normal, right?

[stops and glances at the puddle, then up at Sorey]

The weather here has a tendency to be...strange, from time to time.

[had been on the run from the rain, but has paused now, watching a puddle with quiet fascination-- it's an elementary school-aged Chihaya talking with a boy, who's showing her a deck of karuta cards. He seems very excited to set up a game for them to play, and utterly dominates the game until Chihaya's finally able to take one card from him.]

Ehhh...

[she's confused at first, since she's not sure what's going on with that puddle... but, that girl definitely resembles the grown one she's almost walked past.]

[a certain smiling someone is strolling through town with an umbrella that looks like a giant rose. she seems very relaxed, but one might notice that she is very deliberately stepping past each puddle as quickly as she can]

Aah, what a peaceful stroll on a rainy day.

[ Naturally is right behind Yuu and stops RIGHT IN HIS TRACKS.

Well... at least he doesn't look hostile this time. He's just as shocked as Yuu is, really. ]

[raising a brow, vaguely wondering how he managed to miss catching all these newcomers, but he quickly replaces that with a smile]

It certainly is...Did you just arrive?

[Rain seems to suit him. Kratos hasn't sought out an umbrella but he is walking steadily about the streets, mostly looking up into the drizzle and not where he's going.

You can't avoid puddles in this type of weather; a particularly large one catches his eye, full of a crackling fire, green and white dog-like creature, and... Kratos's eyes widen and he stomps the heck out of that.

... Which was apparently a bad idea. He bites his tongue, immediately deciding that suffering is going to happen one way or another, so he finds a new puddle to watch whatever traumatic life occurences it wants to show him. Now he's sad in the rain. :(]
