Who: Everyone who comes to the labyrinth.
When: Day 3, morning to start with and continuing throughout the day.
Where: Outside the town.
What: A mysterious and enigmatic labyrinth has appeared!

[ The sound of the horn heralds a new labyrinth; follow it to its source, and you'll find a door with a great big question mark on it... ]

Over the course of the next three OOC days, you will be progressing through three rooms--one of which will open each day (a period that starts and ends at 9pm EST). Each room contains two riddles to be solved, along with things to interact with that may provide some clues.

Characters can and should discuss amongst themselves to figure out the answers to the riddles! However, every character will turn in their answers individually before moving on to the next room. Feel free to backtag (and turn in answers) in previous rooms even after later ones have opened up.

If your character cannot read, assume this labyrinth has temporarily granted them the ability.

At the end of the labyrinth, characters will be able to pick a treasure from a selection that depends on how well they responded to the riddles.

[ The door swings open wide, but there's nothing but bright light beyond it. As you approach, you feel a slight weight at your side--on your belt or in a pocket is now a soft black velvet pouch, just heavy enough to make its presence felt.

Will you step through the door? ]

[ There's nothing in this room except a door leading out of the labyrinth entirely and six ornate treasure chests, each with three keyholes on the lock and a golden placard on top with a single word on it.

Before you leave, you may want to use your keys to open the chests and select one treasure from what you find to take with you. Anyone who submitted the correct answer will receive the final key to a given chest; anyone who made an effort to answer a riddle but didn't get it right will receive the middle key; and anyone who didn't make an effort to answer it at all will receive the first key. Feel free to discuss your choice here, but you can only use your own keys to open the chests. ]

If you open it with the glass key, you'll find a set of glow-in-the-dark stickers of suns and moons.

If you open it with the rose quartz key, you'll find a laser pointer.

If you open it with the fire opal key, you'll find an elegant magical lantern with a rosy dawn-like glow; provides six hours of light and can be turned on and off with a switch. ]

[ The placard reads Second.

If you open it with the sandy key, you'll find one of those desk toy trinkets that exchanges colored water when flipped over.

If you open it with the tiny key, you'll find a heavy, precise hourglass.

If you open it with the clockwork key, you'll find an accurate, elegant silver pocketwatch. ]

[ The placard reads Sword.

If you open it with the plastic key, you'll find a keychain version of the legendary sword of your choice.

If you open it with the copper key, you'll find a letter opener version of the legendary sword of your choice.

If you open it with the steel key, you'll find a heavy leatherbound book of sword techniques. ]

[ The placard reads Shield.

If you open it with the wooden key, you'll find a shield-shaped pocket protector.

If you open it with the leather-wrapped key, you'll find an extremely sturdy safe that protects whatever small items are placed within it.

If you open it with the sturdy key, you'll find a slender silver wand which casts a one-use spell creating a forcefield of protection that lasts five minutes. ]

[ The placard reads Bone.

If you open it with the chalk key, you'll find a glass bottle of fresh, delicious milk.

If you open it with the carved bone key, you'll find a piece of bone carved into the shape of an animal of your choice, which makes you feel lucky when you hold it. Does it actually increase your luck? Who knows.

If you open it with the fossilized key, you'll find a very sharp and intricately carved knife made from bone. ]

[ The placard reads Heart.

If you open it with the red clay key, you'll find a plush teddy bear holding a satin heart.

If you open it with the jasper key, you'll find a large gold heart-shaped locket on a chain.

If you open it with the ruby key, you'll find a healing potion in a heart-shaped bottle. Drinking a quarter of it will heal light wounds and drinking half of it will heal moderate wounds, but trying to drink more of it than that in one go will make you feel sick. ]
