Who: Everyone, whether you're returning from the labyrinth or weren't in attendance

What: NIGHT MINGLE with optional sound investigation and/or maybe monsters

[whether you're making a late-night return from the labyrinth with the goods, or you weren't there in the first place, it's now nighttime! it's cooler, the full moon looks like a normal moon (ymmv on normal ofc), and there are stars twinkling, forming unknown constellations.

...also there is this constant trickling sound—like someone left the faucet on—heard from just about anywhere. if you focus on it, you can conclude that it's coming from the second tier. thankfully, once you're inside a building, you barely hear it.

and that's not all: there are monsters out and about—cute ones, weird ones, menacing ones... it's absolutely possible to get back to the inn without encountering any trouble, but there's always the chance that you might come across something that creeps in the night.

so what are you up to? trying to get back to the inn? dealing with a monster? investigating that faucet sound? or maybe you're already back at the inn, chilling in the tavern, getting your room together, or trying to sleep. know what, maybe you're doing something i haven't listed, who am i to tell you what to do with your life, huh?!?!]

Otherwise, you can just work out that your character is kicking ass or in need of help... or maybe YOU want to run a monster in the comments (using this very account, accessible from the Player's Tools page!) and go after any characters who engage! Basically just follow your heart, I hope that by throwing out a bunch of options it doesn't make it feel overwhelming.))

We have leverage on her. If we truly are the only ones capable of eliminating these labyrinth dimensions, then she'd be wise to try and keep us satisfied.

The keyword there is try. She wasn't able to enter the labyrinth and none of her people could enter it as well. She had to call for us just to step into it.

It's not a matter of whether or not she will try and keep us satisfied, it's a matter that all her attempts to please us will undoubtedly fail.

[Hmph.] So long as the Good Queen keeps the promises that lured us here, everything else is trivial. Annoying, but trivial.

Of course. As annoying as everything may be, what matters in the end is that we get our wishes. If the worst of our annoyances is that we're forced to play bingo and receive pointless prizes, then it's ultimately a small price to pay.

[And now his interest is piqued. Rideaux smiles in return—two trustworthy men having a lovely conversation, nothing unsettling or predatory going on here.]

And what sort of wish would bring a man like you to a place like this?

Is that right? Such a lofty goal—I have to say I'm quite intrigued.

[Considers for a moment longer...Then decides he may as well give away the rest of the larger details. There's no need to explain his original plan for dealing with the problem for now, is there?]

A prophecy known as the Score has foretold the death of my world. My wish is simply to ensure that the prophecy no longer exists, and that my world will not die. I'm certain it sounds like a lofty goal, but I must admit that I have my own selfish reasons for wanting to avert the end of the world.

Most heroes are selfish really, once you dig a little deeper. I'm sure your world will love you no matter what your reason is.

Oh, it's nothing special. Money, power, the chance to crush a few deserving people beneath my heel. Surely even a brave man like you can relate to that?

[lets out a laugh]

I'd certainly be lying if I said I couldn't. Money, power, and crushing those deserving of it are things everyone has wanted at some point in their lives. At least once.
