Who: You, you, and you!
When: Day 1, evening
Where: Outside of town, a ways over there
What: A labyrinth in the form of a social bingo!
[later that day you hear that obnoxious horn sound, the one that would be sounded when they discovered a labyrinth. you follow this sound past the town and wind up at a set of stairs leading into the the ground. by these stairs is a sign reading HEAD ON IN. though you might normally be inclined to dilly dally, you're inexplicably drawn to walk down those stairs...]

[the stairs leading down to this "labyrinth" are absolutely grandeur. when you reach the foot of the steps, you become dressed to the nines in some kind of formal wear, like what you'd wear to a fancy ball... which would explain the room before you: you've stepped into a large ballroom. ballad music plays, tables line the wall, and is that a complimentary buffet table next to the wet bar? on the far back wall of this space are a pair of double doors, settled underneath an inaccessible balcony.]
My, my, my, my, m~y!
[a voice rings out from above—and an indistinguishable figure appears on that balcony, looking down at you with a hungry grin; their low voice is upbeat, but oddly smooth]
I've never had guests before! Oh, but you weren't invited... Tsk, tsk! Why, a bunch like you look like you could cause me problems... How troublesome! Oh, troublesome indeed! Still, unlike that royal kindergartener, I am actually kind enough to throw you a party! She didn't do that for you, now, did she? Hahahaha!
[they're still laughing when a bingo card materializes in your hand. between their laughter and constant chatter, they don't seem to be giving you much room to say anything. when their laughter stops, they speak again, their voice taking on a grisly tone]
If I'm going down, I want entertainment, you hear me? And there's only one way I want to go... Do you know BINGO? Must I spell it? Remind you that it's his NAME-O? Ha! You must do what you can to complete a row, or two rows, or the WHOLE CARD! If you do well, you'll earn more than just my dear palace's erasure...!
[they laugh, their laughter growing louder by the second, resonating through the spacious room—then it abruptly stops. just as quickly as that "person" appeared, they disappear, leaving behind nothing but a cloud of black smoke that quickly dissipates into thin air]
I'm watch~ing! ♫

Not expected! Rude! Fake!
...
Rude fake!
[her dress also exposes a scar that's going allll the way around her neck—you can't miss it]
no subject
[because, yeah, it could be viewed as a bit skeevy to mess with a woman's (girl's?) clothing without permission]
no subject
Cannot help! Not labyrinth! Rude fake is liar!

Disappointing. Get bingo over with.

[taking a moment to scans her card]
Hm. Share fears with.
[looking up from her card to stare at him, expectantly]

I don't like the dark, or small spaces. I can manage one, but not both.
no subject
Cowardly.
no subject
What about you?
no subject
[a beat]
Fear is failure—failing duty. Mission, utmost importance. Here for reason. If fail...
[and she trails off, leaving it on an uncertain note]
no subject
[well, what do you say to that.]
Good luck.
no subject
[...and she turns away]
Good luck with cowardly fear.

Please calm down, miss. Surely, being in a fancy dress such as yours isn't too horrible, is it?
no subject
[she stamps a foot, she sure is wearing heels]
Fake labyrinth is problem!
no subject
[She nods, speaking calmly.]
no subject
Much too calm...

[Understatement of the century. She wheels over and picks up a sushi plate from the table, smiling.]
Think of it as a welcoming party. And I say again, you look very dazzling in your outfit; may as well show it off a bit.
[Aaand that's another square off the Bingo card.]
no subject
H-how dare—!
[gritting her teeth; her second to default state is practically frustration, really]
Battle much easier than this. People... people not worth time. Just want out now.
no subject
You're a lot like Karin... She reacts like that a lot, when it comes to interaction outside battle. And I need to tell her what I'm about to tell you.
[She turned to look up at the angry blonde.]
Fighting is important; I know that better than anyone. But what's equally important is having friends to fight for - or, even better, friends to fight with you. I couldn't do what I do back home all alone; I need my friends by my side. On top of that, you can't just fight all the time; you have to take breaks, even if you don't want to. Everyone has limits, even if we don't want to admit them. And that's okay.
[Togo wondered briefly if that that counted as a speech.]
rock at your own pace hell yeah
...friends.
Re: rock at your own pace hell yeah
[Togo pauses, then smiles.]
I'll be your friend.
SCREAM THAT SUBJECT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO ANOTHER THREAD
T-too bold! Uncalled for! No friends... no friends needed!
It's okay! All is forgiven.
Not true. Everyone needs friends, even if they don't believe they do.
;A;/
Not here to make friends. Here for mission. Duty. Purpose.
