Where: THE BEACH of Port Perplex, but anywhere really

[FOR POST-LABYRINTH EXPLORERS: you wake up somewhere along the beach, as though you just washed up on shore. it's especially hot today, and yet, the sun bearing down on you doesn't seem to be causing your injuries any additional discomfort. in fact, the heat seems to be relieving some of your pain—you might be lucky enough to feel no pain at all. still, you should probably get some help.]

[there's some immediately observable changes in Port Perplex. you see, the ocean is a vivid aqua color now, no longer trapped beneath a thick fog that once stuck to its surface. if you look out in the distance over the ocean, you'll see a beautiful sky. the sand along the shore is now soft and warm. furthermore, there's some coconut-bearing palm trees dotting the shore. in summary, this looks like a tropical beach now!

for the next however many days, you'll be able to discover some other things, as well as participate in the festivities taking place all along the beach. it helps that your employer MIGHT have just given everyone a vacation! you see, every single one of the townsfolk are thrilled for this new development, and they're more than eager to celebrate its arrival!]

[ that's... strangely appropriate. Aqua's a little hesitant to divulge too much, but... ]

I'm not sure you want to be bored by the details of my life, but... I suppose I can talk about what happened in the most recent labyrinth.

[ nods, though it's a bit hesitant. ]

There were posters. In one, I saw my friends, beaten and bound. It felt so real. And in another--Terra asked me why I wasn't helping him.

...That all happened in the most recent labyrinth? Where were you taken to?

Yes.

A sinking ship. I stayed below deck, until the very end.

...I see.

It seems everyone also dealt with...a similar situation. A sinking ship full of pirates that were strangely intent on torturing their prisoners despite their more pressing concern.

I was lucky I didn't suffer the same situation one of my labyrinth-mates did. Still... it's concerning that we even had this sort of labyrinth.

Indeed...We'd have to be prepared for more like them to appear in the future. This may very well be just the beginning.

It certainly sounds ominous, when put like that... but you're right. We may have to work together even more during the next ones.

It may help to come up with a course of action for the next time something like this happens. Even if it's just to ask for medical backup to be ready after each labyrinth.

I'd be more than happy to offer my abilities, especially if there are more labyrinths in which we can't access our magic.
