What: A mingle in which you hear a weird sound, but otherwise nothing new

[you can hear a whistling in the distance... sometimes it's almost a howl. however, if you attempt to investigate this, you would just find yourself outside of the town with no clear leads on the source. with no distinct source or direction, it's almost if it's simply the wind playing pranks on you, isn't it.

except, there is no wind. today is just as hot as it usually is in Port Perplex. if you're unlucky, you might still find one of those memory-revealing puddles lingering in an alleyway, but otherwise you're probably enjoying a day off or stuck doing work.

in addition, it seems that someone in particular is looking to meet you, too...]

[you're approached by someone who looks like the Queen—the one you might have only met briefly before your arrival here. however, unlike the Queen, this person wears spectacles, has short hair, and dons an explorer-esque outfit with a surplus of cargo pockets and tool belts. but most unlike the Queen, her eyes don't seem to "reflect galaxies" like hers do—they're standard eyes.]

Excuse me... yes, excuse me. Are you, by chance, one of the explorers that our Queen has chosen to work with?

[ carrying an armful of leftover umbrellas from the rain from the weapon shop to a storehouse. It's just his luck that doing so leaves him just encumbered enough that he fails to avoid one remaining puddle.

[For once, Togo has a day off. She was wheeling towards the library to get some more reading material when she gets stopped by... oh hey you're familiar.]

[She seems relieved, if not overjoyed. After bothering so many townsfolk, she's found one of the explorers!]

My name is Cecilia Aria-Rita Eupheme. I'm the leader of the scouts who uncover the labyrinths.

[Cecilia holds out a hand, in hopes of a handshake.]

Oh, I see.

[She smiles and takes the hand to give it a shake, bowing some in her wheelchair.]

I am Mimori Togo, but please, just Togo is fine. Pleasure to meet you, Miss Eupheme.

[Kratos is ashen and looks like he definitely hasn't slept in t least twenty-four hours, but he's marching the route any observer would have gleaned is his assigned path for the garrison. His hand rests on his sword and his movements are automatic, but his expression is set and his pace doesn't vary.

He steps wide of any puddles, though.]

[ freezing in place, the umbrellas still in his arms ]

[points down at the puddle]

[She wheels over to one side, shifting till she's not hindering anyone.]

[Judging from the way he moves, and the state of his hand on his sword, it's not hard to assume he's with the garrison. She tries walking alongside him.]

[ Stares at the hand, used to bowing or curtesying, but then it seems to click and he takes it in a shake. ]
