What: Meeting old friends and new friends!



A; Closed to Aqua and Terra.

[ Ven seemed excited for the prospect of just exploring a new place, but even more so that he could do it, full in body and spirit. He wasn't sure how his heart healed, but he wasn't one to think too long about it, especially when he was given the chance to do something new! The boat was slow to dock, but that didn't contain Ven's nervous energy as he waited for the gates to be let down. So many people to see!

Quickly, he's running onto the dock and greeted by so many people. They all seem so friendly, so Ven is reciporcating immediately. It's only after Ven realizes that he's getting buried in flowers that he believes that maybe he shouldn't have stayed in one spot. He attempts to move but with the weight of all of them, he was worried he was going to move...he could use his magic, but..there were so many people still around! So...quietly, he attempted to call out. ]

Help....Please! It's a little...smelly.

B; Open to all!

[ After the emotional meetings, Ven was keen on going places. He had to explore! It was fun to see all the things around this port, so he was stopping in shops, looking at the local people and speaking to a fair few. He's asking a few questions as well. He stops up to anyone he sees and greets them happily before asking what kind of place this was; After all, different people have different stories!

Maybe talk to him? ]

[ After seeing Terra again, Aqua's been given some hope that maybe Ven, too, will show up. She spends her days keeping a watchful eye for him; after all, the Queen's power had brought Terra here. Why not Ven?

It doesn't prepare her for when she actually sees him. She can see a hand, but the person's voice is muffled so she can't tell who it is. Still, Aqua rushes over and grips his hand, then pulls.

And when she sees him... ]

Ven?

[ Her voice trembles. ]

A!!!!!!!

[darkbreaker]

[Terra had been walking on his way to the bakery to see Aqua when he heard someone cry for help.

Another new person had arrived apparently. Part of him really hopes it's Ven.

He bends down and pulls the person out and promptly drops him back into the flowers.]

Ven!

[Let's pull Ven out again just to make sure.]

B!

[glorious]

[Van has made a point of making sure he's at least introduced himself to every new face that has come through, so he's definitely approaching this new arrival for introductions.]

Good morning. Have you just arrived?

[lightbox]

[ When someone pulls him out, he's relieved, but when he immediately sees who it is, his expression brightens completely as he immediately hugs her. ]

Aqua! You're alright!

[lightbox]

[ Ven immediately scrambles as he gets rained on by flowers, trying to get up again before promptly being picked up again. When he notices who it is, his expression looks like it could sparkle, shimmer and do many different things that involve happiness. ]

Terra! Terra, you're alright!

[ He couldn't believe it. It was Terra. ]

[ Ven offers a warm smile to the stranger. ]

I have! My name's Ventus, but you can call me Ven!

[darkbreaker]

[That clinches it. This was definitely Ven.

After that conversation with Aqua, it was good to see his younger friend.]

You're here!

[Terra picks some of the flowers out of Ven's hair.]

I take it you just got here?

[prismbloom]

[ She returns the hug, more stunned than anything. Yes, Aqua's alright. But Ven-- Ven had been asleep, his heart shattered, in what was once the Land of Departure...

And then she does something that's completely different for her: Her shoulders shake, and she hugs him tight. Not tight enough to hurt, but enough to make sure he's actually real.

She's crying, too, if Ven notices... ]

[glorious]

[Van raises a brow, amused.]

Ven? That should be easy enough to remember, given that my own name is Van.

[lightbox]

I did! I'm really excited too! [ Ven sees really happy, but pulls back and looks at Terra really closely. It's only for a second before he grins again. ]

What about you?

[lightbox]

That's really easily, actually. That makes it easy for me to remember your name!

[ Ven thinks for a second after considering Van. ]

How long have you been here? It seems like people have been here different times.

[lightbox]

[ Ven hugs her back, not as tight. He knows that she is probably really upset, but in the good kind of way. She's relieved...Ven is too, honestly. He kind of says her name before he pats her in the back. ]

Aqua...you're squeezing me....

[darkbreaker]

I am, too. I've already run across Aqua.

[Terra smiles at that. Both of his friends are here. What more can he ask for... despite knowing what was coming for Ven and himself in the future.]

[prismbloom]

[ Oh. Oh. Aqua loosens her grip on him, pulling back to look at his face. It's really him. He's really here. No yellow eyes this time--just Ventus. Ventus, awake and whole and here. ]

I'm sorry. [ She wipes her eyes. ] I-- I'm so glad you're here.

[glorious]

Hopefully we don't accidentally mix up our own names.

[Van pauses as he counts back the days...]

It's been about two weeks. I was on the first boat, so everyone here has only been around for a similar time-frame.

[lightbox]

Really!? You guys didn't fight, did you? [ Ven seemed a little worried about that, given the nature of what happened in the future...]

[lightbox]

Two weeks? So what kind of stuff goes on here? Should I expect something? Is there anything special about this place?

[lightbox]

[ Ven just grinned now, trying to make sure she knew that he was really here. ]

I'm excited to be here! I mean, I get to explore stuff!

[darkbreaker]

[He shakes his head, still smiling. Though it was hard to smile about what he knows will happen to him in the future.]

No. We caught up without a fight.

[prismbloom]

We're all together, now.

[ Aqua hugs him again, gentler this time. ]

Terra arrived not too long ago.

[lightbox]

[ Ven couldn't be happier about that news! ]

That's wonderful! So what's this place, what are we doing here?

[lightbox]

Really!? Terra's here?!

[ Ven hugs her back, but quickly pulls back. ]

You didn't yell at him too much did you?!

[darkbreaker]

Port Perplex. It's the town everyone shows up in at first. Aqua's been here longer than I have, so she knows more.

[prismbloom]

Yell-- No, no, of course not.

[ She sort of... deflates just a little bit. Aqua knows she's been rough on Terra, but... ]

He'll be so happy to see you.

[glorious]

...There's a great deal that's unknown about the labyrinths, but in the most recent one we've learned that there are beings within them that will torture those who venture inside.

[lightbox]

[ Ven took this time to look around, tilting his head at the people giving flowers and then looked back at the flower pile. He picked up a few and handed them to a random passerby, saying to give them to someone else. ]

Then...I guess I'll find out! Where are you both staying?

[lightbox]

I'll be happy to see him!

[ Ven notices the deflate and he reaches up awkwardly to ruffle her hair. ]

I mean you always kind of fuss at him, but he usually does something to get in trouble.

[lightbox]

Whoa! Labyrinths? So we get to explore more then just this place?

[ At the last part though, Ven's expression becomes serious. ]

Torture? Does that kind of stuff happen often?

[prismbloom]

[ She's a little surprised at that, but it brings a smile to her face. ]

If I didn't fuss at you both, you'd get into all sorts of trouble.

[glorious]

There's a great deal of exploring to be done in the labyrinths, and most of it has been relatively safe with the only danger involving the terrain.

Torture has only occurred the one time previously so it's fortunately uncommon. However, those acts were performed by inhabitants of the labyrinth and there's no guarantee that they're gone for good. We can't say for sure how common or uncommon torture will be until after a few more labyrinths.

[darkbreaker]

[Seeing Van be so kind just makes Terra smile. The boy has always been like this.]

The Inn. That's where everyone stays.

[lightbox]

Well, that's true, but I'd be there to get us out of it!

[ Ven gives her a big grin. ]

[lightbox]

Oh. So we can all stay together?! [ There's a light in Ven's eyes that hasn't been seen in awhile. ]

[lightbox]

I see. So it depends on the labyrinth that people go into. Is there any kind of pattern to them labyrinths? I mean, like have you noticed that sometimes they are pretty easy and sometimes they are harder?

[glorious]

I can't say I've noticed any pattern, but there are a few labyrinths I missed. However, I do feel they've grown more dangerous with time, though I can't say that with any certainty without discussing with others about the labyrinths I've missed.

[prismbloom]

[ He's so sure of himself that it makes her heart ache. ]

We know we can always count on you, Ven.

[darkbreaker]

I believe so. Not in the same room, but at least in the same place. [Terra really wants to ruffle your hair now, Ven.]

[lightbox]

[ Ven seems to think for a moment before smiling and nodding. ]

That settles it, we should make a group that talks about what happens in each labyrinth! If we can figure out a pattern, maybe that will help!

[lightbox]

[ Ven tilts his head and reaches up again, pulling on her cheeks. ]

Aqua, you're making your serious face again. We're not at home...so don't think about it too much okay? Things happened, sure, and they make me sad too, but we can't think about them too much.

[lightbox]

Really? Can we be in the same room sometime? It'd be fun to have places like back at home!

[darkbreaker]

[Okay, hair ruffles it is.] Sure. Maybe Aqua can join us, too.

[prismbloom]

[ His touch does make her smile, and she puts her hands over Ven's. ]

I'm sorry. I won't think about the heavier things, now that you both are here.

[glorious]

[Van pauses for a moment, raising a brow curiously at Ven...then lets out a laugh and smiles.]

That's not a bad idea! The more information we all have, the better.

[lightbox]

Of course! We have more fun when it's all three of us! [ Ven grins happily and for a moment he seems to consider something before he hugs Terra again.

It really is him...]

Only if those heavier things help us out in the future, there isn't a point in thinking about them!

[ Ven was saying it mostly for himself; he didn't want to think or talk about it. Especially since he had to go back home to...being like that. ]

Then I'll make sure to share what I write down for you! Thank you for helping so much; it's nice to know people want to help each other out in this world.

[ Aqua knows she'll still think about them--because they haunt her that much. But Ven and Terra are both here... ]
